Crazy Rich is a term for the rich, more synonymous with the young Substitute Conglomerate.
The term Crazy Rich may have just appeared after the blockbuster Crazy Asians appeared on the cinema screen. In Indonesia, the term Crazy Rich Surabaya finally appeared, Bandung, Semarang and so on.
My lay mind thinks Crazy Rich is a rich man but does strange things with his wealth.
As news appeared in Indonesian media, Crazy Rich bought tickets for planes because he didn't want to get infected with the ongoing Covid-19 and strict health protocols.
If it is associated with the word Crazy (crazy crazy) maybe this fits.
But the term crazy rich has become an understanding of the rich or conglomerate as we read in the encyclopedia.
But when we watch Crazy Rich Asians, we don't see anything crazy done in this film except parties.
Just a romantic story of Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) dating an ordinary Nick Young who turns out to be a very rich person.
The girl is caught in a situation where she has to decide for herself when a rich family doesn't want her to.
We appreciate it when a national private TV studio shows the hit film Crazy Rich Asians at the beginning of Eid.

Every scene is carefully designed in luxury. In Crazy Rich Asians only Grandma Nick wears what can be considered traditional Asian attire.
Another major hit at the box office in the United States this film is the romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians' Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) a Chinese American living in New York. Her boyfriend, Nick Young, who is rich, whose parents live in Singapore, is a humble man.
Crazy Rich retained its No. 1 best-selling spot in North America by grossing $25 million.
The adaptation of Kevin Kwan's bestselling book is played by only Asian actors and not Hollywood actresses.
It is said that Netflix was behind this production and made a great offer to retain the distribution rights.
'Crazy Rich Asians' supporting diversity in the industry brings it to the cinema. The film is directed by Jon M. Chu.
As you can see, there are tons of designer dresses, over-the-top moments, and glitzy looks at Crazy Rich Asians.
Standout scenes: Peik Lin Goh (played by Awkwafina) and Oliver T'sien (Nico Santos) model for Rachel Chu (Constance Wu), an NYU economics professor who becomes a fearless upscale fashion force.
There are some dancing, commotion, colorful fashion and touching scenes.

Some critics praised the film for shaping a stereotypical image of Asians for European and American audiences, "supporting China".
Critics argue that the film places the Chinese at the top of society.
Brown people are ignored, for example in the film, the gatekeepers of the mansion are Indians, and some of the servants are Malays.
On the other hand, almost everyone who attended the beautiful party in full costume was Chinese. Are there not rich people who are not Chinese in Asia?
The film's original name in English should have been "Crazy Rich Chinese" or at best 'Crazy Rich' Singapore.
But Singapore has also criticized it, with Singaporean-Indian writer Sangeetha Thanapal commenting: "The cast of characters is almost entirely Chinese.
Only a few brown people appear in the film, Playing minor supporting roles in serving the rich Chinese. As a gatekeeper and a servant in a rich man's house, repeat this film critique.
The fact is that brown people make up the largest part of the total population of the Asian continent, but East Asians occupy the power to build the imagination of Asian identity in this film.
In Singapore, about 70% of the local population is Chinese, more than 15% is Malay, and another 6.6% is Indian.
Crazy Rich Asians actually indirectly reinforces the "Asia equals China" stereotype.
Are there only rich Chinese in Asia or in Singapore? Because there are no Malays (rich) and rich Indians who appear in the film.
It was a critique from the Singaporean audience themselves and of course other Asian audiences too.
Crazy Rich film does not represent the existence of Asian people let alone Southeast Asia. There may be an assumption that the rich Asians are all Chinese, although there may be some truth to this.
